Walkthrough guide
A demo you
can reproduce.
Show setup, a task handoff, and a spending boundary in one short walkthrough. Use the exact controls below.
Record this as a browser-local product demonstration. The controls do not run agents, connect accounts, or spend money.
Part one / Build a plan
A fictional research team.
Choose a setup
Open Setup, leave Autoglide Cloud selected, and choose Continue. To show the alternative first, select Self-managed and point out the Model provider and Where it runs dropdowns; then return to Cloud.
Say: “The first choice is who manages the model access and infrastructure. Here I am comparing a managed plan.”
Enter a specific company goal
Company name: Northstar Studio. Mission: Prepare a weekly brief of customer questions, with sources and documentation suggestions. Deselect Build a product, select Research & strategy and Create content, choose Light workload, then Continue.
Say: “I am planning one repeatable output, rather than asking a team to run the whole business.”
Make the team explicit
Set Number of agents to 2. Use the role dropdowns to choose Researcher and Content creator. Leave Balanced selected and Continue.
Say: “One role gathers the evidence; the other turns it into a brief. I still review the result.”
Save something viewers can inspect
Select Weekly, choose Use suggested budget, and point out Total example estimate. Choose Save plan preview, then Download plan to keep the JSON. Edit choices returns to the budget step. Explore sample workspace carries the company name and mission into the home sample.
Say: “This produces a team plan I can review and download. The numbers are sample planning rates, not a quote.”
Part two / Show the handoff
Use the Firstlight example board.
The Product example is a separate fixed scenario. It does not import the research roles above.
Show a dependency
Choose Reset example, then open Work. Choose Complete engineering task. The engineering row becomes Done and the QA row becomes Ready. Choose Complete QA task to finish that check.
Show a budget boundary
Open Controls and move Adjust the sample limit below $48. The board reports Paused · budget limit. Raise it to $80 to cover the example estimate again. Work history records the budget change.
Show the review decision
Choose Approve in preview for Publish the launch announcement. The decision changes to Approved by you in this preview. Point to Work history, then use Reset example if you want to record another take.
Recording checklist
- Use fictional business details and keep unrelated personal tabs or messages out of the recording.
- Let the resulting status text stay visible after each action so the viewer can see what changed.
- Distinguish the custom setup plan from the fixed Firstlight product-board example.
- Link to the current control reference and use the supplied brand files.
